Model 400 Driver / Controller

The Model 400 PWM Controller features a small, signal conditioner style package with the digital control, low side drive pulse width modulated output similar to the Model 205, but in our lowest cost unit.

Model 400 PWM Driver / Controller features:
  • signal conditioner style unit, DIN rail mountable
  • analog and RS-232 to PWM duty cycle function only
  • programmable fixed frequency of operation (2 to 500 Hz)
  • cost efficient PWM Controller with many of the same specs as the Model 205, however, tailored to industrial and OEM use (no LCD / pushbutton interface)
  • frequency output and operation configurable using a standard PC-compatible computer and graphical user interface software (available for download below)
  • fuse protected output
  • output and fault LED indicators
  • rugged construction, high quality PCB using surface mount technology, designed for industrial temperature range operation (-40° C to +80° C)
  • very small form factor, 3.625 in. x 2.25 in. x 1 in.
  • differential analog input provides over +/- 100V common mode rejection (not isolated) preventing ground loops in industrial control applications
  • design ready for production applications - request quotation for OEM / volume purchases
  • applications:
    • engineering development and end application control of solenoid based products: valves, actuators
    • add PWM capability to PLCs and PC based control systems where the PLC or PC do not have PWM capability or direct drive current handling capability
    • durability / life cycle laboratory test stands
    • signal conditioner: analog to PWM, RS-232 to PWM
    • production applications
  • warranty: guaranteed for 1 year for manufacturer defects
  • Order Numbers: PWMC-400, PWMC-400-DIN, PWMC-400-KIT (see datasheet for details)
